Five ways to know your admission is sure

Admissions

There are ways to know that you will get admitted for sure. How? That’s what I will discuss about in this post. Most candidates are already packing their loads, getting ready for school because they are so sure of admission this year.
Ways to know how certain your admission is listed below,
1.       High JAMB score: Candidates /aspirants with extremely high JAMB score have confidence that their admission is sure. Due to the new style of screening which implies that the higher your JAMB score, the higher your point. So, you see why I said they are sure of their admission.
2.       Good WAEC result: You can’t compare someone with eight A1 and someone with nine B2, incomparable. Since screening requires your WAEC results, then the better your WAEC result, the higher your grade/point.
3.       Choosing Less Competitive Courses: Choosing less competitive courses makes your admission quicker and easier. You are competing with small number of candidates unlike courses like medicine and surgery. Note this, the more people choose a particular, the more the cut off mark increases. This explains why mathematics has low cut off mark and medicine and surgery have high cut off mark.
4.       Surpassing the previous year cut off mark: After calculating your points, compare it with last year cut off mark. For example, Mr. A have 72% while last year cut off mark for his course was 62%, you see the difference. That means Mr. A is certain for admission this year. Don’t get me wrong, the cut off might increase or decrease according to the competition, but make sure you surpass the previous year cut off mark with 10points.
5.       Connection: I know this sound odd but it is the truth. Most people use “long-leg” to secure admission. Just know a lecturer in the school; you might be certain of admission this year.
